01The problem

Logging hours from memory, days later, is imprecise and tiring. On the other side, the manager needs to know where the time went, without watching anyone.

02The solution

Rastro reads, on your computer, the trace of the day (commits, calendar meetings, documents, work pages and AI sessions), builds the activities per project, discounts personal time and flags what does not add up. You review, approve and share only the hours per project. It never invents hours.

03How it works

01Point it at yoursources02Review the period03Approve04Share only thehours
  1. Point it at your sources

Choose git, calendar, documents, work pages and AI sessions.

  2. Review the period

Rastro builds the activities per project and lists what needs attention.

  3. Approve

You confirm any declared hours and approve the period.

  4. Share only the hours

Your manager receives hours per project, never commits, pages or descriptions.

The highlighted step checks the result before anything moves on.

04What you gain

  • No stopwatch. Hours come from evidence you already produce.

  • Private by design. Your history never leaves your computer.

  • Honest. A gap stays a question, and hours without a trace only count when you declare and confirm them.

09Frequently asked questions

How much does Rastro cost?

Pricing is quoted on request, based on scope. Get in touch to receive a proposal.

Does my manager see my history?

No. The manager receives only hours per project and per kind of evidence, in a package you approve. Commits, pages and descriptions never leave your computer.

Does Rastro invent hours?

Never. Where the trace does not cover, the day closes short and the gap becomes a question. Hours without a trace only count if you declare and confirm them, and they are labeled declared.

Does it read my personal pages?

No. The browser is read only for the work domains you allow. From the shell it keeps only the program name, and from AI sessions only the time and the folder.

Does it integrate with my time system?

Not yet. Today the output is CSV, JSON or Markdown, which you import wherever you need.
