Product data your European customers ask for, organized for the digital product passport

Composition, recycled content, repairability and origin per product, pulled from your ERP and supplier datasheets, with a passport in JSON and a QR code.

01The problem

European customers are starting to ask for each product's composition, recycled content, repairability and origin, and that data is scattered across the ERP, technical datasheets and supplier PDFs. Every questionnaire turns into a week of digging.

02How we solve it

We build a product data model fed by the ERP and engineering; AI extracts data from supplier datasheets, test reports and certificates (in several languages), and rules check units, composition totals and expired documents; the system generates the passport (JSON) with a QR code and the reports for customers. The EU is still publishing the rules for each product group, so the model is parameterized for the delegated acts.

03How it works

  1. Gap assessment

We list which product data already exists and what is missing.

  2. Data model

A product model is fed by the ERP, engineering and supplier documents.

  3. Extraction and checks

AI reads datasheets and certificates; rules check units, totals and validity.

  4. Passport

The system generates the passport (JSON) with a QR code and the customer reports.

The highlighted step is the check: anything that fails the rules goes back for review instead of moving on.

04What changes in practice

  • Questionnaires answered in hours. Product data lives in one model, with the evidence attached.

  • Ready for the rules as they come. The model adapts to each product group's delegated act.

  • Supplier PDFs put to work. Datasheets and reports are read and checked automatically.

05What you get

  • Assessment of existing data and gaps
  • Product data model
  • Pilot with one product family and a working QR code
  • Roll-out plan for the other product lines

06How the pilot works

Scope
One product family (for example, a bed-and-bath line or a furniture line)
Timeline
6 to 8 weeks

What we measure

  • share of attributes filled in with evidence
  • time to answer a customer questionnaire

Metrics are agreed before we start. With the numbers in hand, you decide whether to move to production.

09Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to prepare for the digital product passport?

Every project is quoted after a free assessment, based on scope, volume and the systems involved. You get a fixed-price proposal in writing before any work starts.

How long does a digital product passport pilot take?

The pilot takes 6 to 8 weeks. Typical scope: one product family (for example, a bed-and-bath line or a furniture line).

Is the digital product passport mandatory already?

Not yet for most products: the EU is publishing the rules group by group (textiles, furniture, steel, tires and others) over the next few years. But European customers already ask for this data in questionnaires, and companies that get organized early answer faster.

Do I need to replace my ERP?

No. The data model reads the ERP and the datasheets you already have; the assessment shows what is missing and where each piece of data can come from.
